This could be dangerous!!

So I figured it out! YAY!! This could be really dangerous for me! You could see alot more of these. hahaha OK, so you all may not think this is as cute as I do, but its proof of how much the boys love their bikes.

ENJOY!!!

I'm Still Here!

So I know that I have been absent for a while. I have been on an emotional rollercoaster and just haven't had any words. I tend to withdraw when my emotions are running wild. I also tend to drown myself in music. Music tends to be what helps me through. I had turned on Klove online (did you know that you can listen online). The song Call My Name by Third Day came on. Not a coincidence!! Here is the exact part of the lyrics that came on when I turned it on.

When you feel like you're alone in your sadness

It seems like no one else in this whole world cares

And you want to get away from the madness

You just call My name and I'll be there

That is just the chorus, but that is what I heard the minute I turned it on!! Once again...not a coincidence! It fit every mood I was feeling and helped me to redirect my thinking. God is good!

I started to post last night, but I'm not ready to post it yet. Maybe soon! So just to let ya all know I'm still alive I have pictures again to take the place of my loss of words.
This bike thing is getting the best of me! Who knew that when the boys learned to ride with no training wheels that it would start a whirlwind of bike riding! Everyday..and I'm not exaggerating...they ride their bikes for hours!! And I mean HOURS!! I think everyday for the past two weeks on top of riding in front of the house they have also went on a bike ride with their dad. On Saturday my friend Tisha came over to show us pictures of her trip to Colorado and was playing around with the boys. This is what they were doing (it involves bikes of course!)....
The boys have so much fun with her! We are very blessed to have Tisha in our lives. A little background, we met her just after having the twins at our old church. We attended a Bible Study together and slowly just became friends through her love for kids. She has been very supportive through this past year and we love her! We feel very grateful that she made the move with us to Elston and God is taking our friendship to new heights and growing us both. Anyone that doesn't yet know her should get to know her, she's amazing! She's probably going to kill me for posting these pictures...but they are just too cute to not post! hee hee!

The boys decided that they wanted to be brave (go figure) and start riding their bikes down hill! Yeah you heard me right! I wish I knew how to upload video because I have some very cute video of it. But until then, heres some pictures!

Right before the boys decided to be dare devils they decided that he wanted to pose for pictures. You know that they're camera obsessed when they smile and say "take a picture of me!"

The other night, I'm not sure if it was raining or not, but it was one of those days we've had lately, we looked out our window to see this.....

GORGEOUS!! JUST GORGEOUS!!

I hope everyone has a great week!

Pickles and Popcorn

I have very few words as today was an emotional day for me. I do, however, have a ton of pictures to take place of my few words. :) We took the boys to the drive-in on Friday to see Kung-Fu Panda. In my opinion, it wasn't very good. It had some language and adult humor in it and for Mason wanting to see it VERY BADLY...he fell asleep! But it was nonetheless a fun adventure. They open at 7:30 so we took some things to do to keep us occupied because it doesn't get dark until around 10. Lindsay, notice the McDonalds Tea...I'm an addict too!Weston throwing to Isaac.
Isaac throwing to Dad, oh wait...wrong way. Sorry Mom. :)

Isaac trying to hit the soccer ball with his head!
Weston showing off his Panda from McDonalds. YES...Pickles at the drive-in! haha
Weston sneaking popcorn before the movie starts. :)

William, Weston and Isaac watching the movie. Side note...take pillows and more blankets.

And now....the ones you've all been waiting for.hahaha
See how interesting the movie was. :)
These i thought were so funny. The first one was taken right when we pulled out of the parking lot and the second was taken about half way home.
Ok...so I'll bore you with one more. I can't help myself. :) By the way...Mason was embarrased when he saw this one. I think its precious!

WOO HOO....This is fun!

In the words of Weston while he was doing this...Yes, your seeing right (no its not Isaac)! Thats Weston riding his bike with NO training wheels! And yes that is really what he said. Along with "woo hoo, now I'm a big kid!" He was so hesitant, but once he realized he could do it he was overjoyed with excitement. This went on for almost 4 hours!!! 4 hours of turning all by themselves, going on and off the sidewalks and starting by themselves! We are so proud of both of them!! Way to go boys!!

I didn't have a chance yesterday to post about Fathers Day, but it was a wonderful day. The boys and William spent the day fishing for the first time! Yes it has been a weekend of firsts. They had a blast. It was great father/son time! They caught 6 fish! Not bad for the first time.

So I'll leave you with one more. Weston all tuckered out from bike riding today!

Water, Bikes and Marshmellows

We have had an very eventful weekend and its only Saturday!! My trip went well and while I was gone the boys got out the slip-n-slide and had some fun. Thankfully William is just as obessed with the camera as I am and snagged some pictures.Friday was so relaxing that we just didn't really do much. I took my cousin to get some things done and we just hung out. Now, today on the other hand has been so busy and fun filled that I'm having a hard time even typing because I'm so tired. :) We started the day by going garage saling. And can I just add that I'm a little disappointed in the garage sales this year. I don't know if its that I'm not looking for anything in particular or if its that there really just aren't many out there. BUT...I did have one really good find today....

Yes....BIKES!!! And the picture doesn't do them justice. Just take my word that they are nice. :) William and I have been wanting bikes for 2 years now but haven't wanted to spend the money on new ones. So we have been looking at garage sales, but with the gas prices going up people just haven't been wanting to sell them. When I saw these I thought it was too good to be true. They are only a couple years old and in really nice condition! They even have the comfy gel seats! YAY!! I know, silly me. haha And the best part is...I only paid $30 total!!! We are so excited to take our first family bike ride!

Okay so I'm going to still be talking about bikes but I thought this deserved its special paragraph! hahaha Apparently Isaac decided that when he turned 4 things just had to change. He told us today that he wanted his training wheels off his bike. Yeah I know, CRAZY! Now mind you that he has done this before (last year) and he wanted them right back on. But I could sense that today was different. So we humored him and took them off. This is what came of it....

Isaac can now officially ride a two wheeler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!! This happened very quickly. Apparently he is the type of child that when he decides hes going to do something he does it! WAY TO GO!!! William spent the entire morning helping him and by the evening he had it down and told his dad that he wanted to learn how to start himself too. It got to the point where William was just pushing him and he would go, but Isaac decided that he wanted to be independent and learn to do it. During this process Isaac was having so much fun, but was obviously still nervous and was gripping the handle bars really tight and so we had to take breaks for the hands. When he would get off the bike he would be shaking so bad he couldn't get his helmet off, but then would want to get right back on! He rode his bike for about 3 hours tonight and then had to call everyone and tell them. We are so proud of him!! By the way...Weston is trying and Isaac gave him a pep talk tonight before it was his turn. Oh, and I recorded Isaac for proof, but I don't know how to upload a video but I'm working on it. I also have to say how proud of William I am and how out of shape I am! I tried to help Isaac this evening and I went back and forth ONCE and was exhausted, I don't know how he did that all day! Impressive!

Tonight we were all tired out so we thought we would sit around the fire pit and roast some marshmellows and just hang out. Can I just say that we need to do that more often. It was so nice. Weston decided that he would go in and get the flashlight and a book so we could read before bed around the fire. What an amazing idea! It was so much fun!

Apparently Mason feet were cold! hahaha

Weston reading us a bedtime story.
Isaac and William listening to the story.

Alright, If I don't go to bed I'm never gonna get up in the morning for church. I can barely keep my eyes open. I hope everyone has a great Fathers Day tomorrow. I will be posting more tomorrow as the boys bought something special for William, but I don't want to run the risk of him seeing this before tomorrow. Yeah, I know, like he's gonna wake up at 1am and go I need to check Aprils blog. haha

I'll just keep you in suspense! haha
